Clinics
Clinics can also be a great tool to learn what you should be practicing in a short weekend format. State pageants often have a clinic once a year so there is likely something that will go on in your area.
Riding Instructors
You can ride horses for hours every single day, practicing pattern after pattern, riding unfamiliar horses and you still won’t be able to tell if your developing bad habits in your position. Riding with a quality instructor can help pinpoint your problem areas and help correct the overall picture of your horsemanship. Ideally find a trainer that has experience in the horsemanship show world, but any quality trainer will be an asset.
Classes
You can learn many different aspects of rodeo queen competition outside of rodeo queen specific coaching. Courses and classes like public speaking, modeling, even interview help can be learned from other professionals. Programs like Skillshare and Coursera are the most popular, Toastmasters can be good be a great way to get comfortable talking to strangers.
